Hi, this one came from Michael Niedermayer, so I think it's worth to take a look: http://guru.multimedia.cx/deinterlacing-filters/
At very *very* first look it seems that (as previously stated, IIRC) dropping dilyuvmmx filter isn't a big loss. Our smartyuv and tomsmocomp looks nice, but mplayer's yadif seems to be the best of pack (...at least at very first glance), maybe a backport from mplayer codebase can be interesting/useful (but not for 1.1.0). I'm pretty curious about results of brand new deinterlace code (libtcvideo), it will be interesting to add a comparison in transcode's wiki too (argh, another item in my TODO list :P) Best regards, -- Francesco Romani - Ikitt ['people always complain, no matther what you do'] IM contact: (email-me, I have antispam default deny!) icq://27-83-87-867 some known bugs: http://www.transcoding.org/cgi-bin/transcode?Bug_Showcase
