My final resolution (yet :P ) is to delay fancier things like file:/// MRL and other goodies mentioned in thread, and get stuck on my original plan. The key point is: I can't see yet any clean way to sanitize iodir code without fully rewriting it, and I don't want to drop directory mode for 1.1.0 since I think doing so will damage too much transcode users and frontend. Regarding NMS, I'll of course fully agree in prioritizing this task as much as we can. Unfortunately, other areas of code deserves some attention too :( Bests, -- Francesco Romani - Ikitt ['people always complain, no matther what you do'] IM contact : (email first, Antispam default deny!) icq://27-83-87-867 known bugs : http://www.transcoding.org/cgi-bin/transcode?Bug_Showcase tiny homepage : http://fromani.exit1.org (see IDEAS if you want send code!)
