Hi, I'm back on work on tc on holidays, and I'd like to release at least one public RC of transcode 1.0.3 before Christmas, so I'll able to work again 100% on CVS HEAD.
I'm still not so familiar with autotools machinery, so a question raise. Which version of autotools should I use to generate configure and makefile for distribution tarball? I've planned to use the versions shipped on debian sarge, automake circa 1.7 and autoconf circa 2.13. Are them too old? Or too new (?!). Any comment is appreciated.
