Hello Jacob, What I did after reading your comments, was to download & extract transcode-1.0.2.tar.gz once again...This time it compiled much further than it did the first time, using only ./configure...The script pvm3/Makefile.in was in it this time, and yes it was pvm3/ the forward slash I had not typed in... Now I am not sure if the list would approve that I send the entire output of the ./configure, but at anyrate I've gone over the configure script, and found quite a few missing files...So I ended up retriving all of the missing files, and did another ./configure, and it finally compiled ok... Thanks very much for the reply, for it did help me out... Have a nice evening...
