Yes, .m2t is mpeg2 transport stream (also known as .ts) To cut this m2t, the best is to use ProjectX (a java app) to edit cut marks and demux audio video. Then transcode with -i file.m2v -p file.mp2 Or you can replex to vob, ready for dvdauthor (mplex -f8 -o file.vob file.m2v file.mp2) (ProjectX is very good at keeping audio and video in sync, even with damaged streams.) -- Christophe Thommeret
