I've been experiencing a very strange issue with import_imlist for a while
now and I've been unable to fix it or find any mention of it online. To
create the list, I simply use ls like so:

$ ls *.png >frames

Which results in a file like this:

$ head -5 frames
shot-2007-27-02-00-15-29.png
shot-2007-27-02-00-16-02.png
shot-2007-27-02-00-16-36.png
shot-2007-27-02-00-17-09.png
shot-2007-27-02-00-17-43.png

When I try to transcode these frames, however, it appears that the imlist
plugin is mangling the names before trying to open the files:

$ transcode --use_rgb -x imlist,null -i frames

Has anyone else delt with this? Any ideas?

Thanks,
