Hi,

I'm using Dvd:rip and transcode to Rip the DVD I buy in Xvid, so I can put
them in a file server and watch them from any computer in my house.
I've recently stumbled upon many "copy-protected" DVDs, apparently with
RipGuard or something like that. Copying them is usually a real pain and
doesn't always succeed : I usually lack part of the movie, the beginning or
the end. I find this extremely frustrating as I pay for these DVD, since my
wife is an animation director and I perfectly understand the right issues.
Is there any support planned to access properly these files? There are
apparently tools on Windows that do just that, but I would prefer Linux ones,
since I'm running essentially Linux at home.
Thank you for transcode, BTW. It's a wonderful tool I've been using for years.

Best regards,

        Richard Van Den Boom
