have 3 inputs: a web cam, a camcorder and line into a sound card.
I want to create one file that has those 3 tracks.

How doable is 2 video streams?

DVD's have the multi angle thing, so something supports it, right?

Why would I want such a thing?

PyCon is in 5 weeks.

I plan to have the following:

1. http://www.epiphan.com/products/product.php?ppid=46
Which "look like a cam corder" so I guess that means I get an mpeg stream.

2. a web cam pointed at the stage/screen (because sometimes the speaker will walk over to the screen, and it will help if I need to synchronize things)

3. line in from the sound board. speaker will be miced, and the audience will hopefully use the mics provided for them to ask questions into.

So assuming all of that happens, I want a stream that can be fed into something like http://lives.sourceforge.net and someone can cut back and forth between which is more interesting, the slide that has been on the screen for the last 2 min, or the speaker jumping up and down.

So given my givens, what should I use to do what?
