Hi,
I need to create a master of a short film to be exported on BetaSP and HDCam
tape.
I must provide a Quicktime in 8bits YUV / PCM24BE format, which can be made by
by transcode. There some weird framerate issues (ffmpeg seems to consider the
container has a framerate of 600 while the codec is at 25fps, and Windows
programs like Premiere show very bizarre framerate for the file, but the Win
Quicktime still play them well) but that's beside the point.
Unfortunately, I also need to render subtitles I have in SRT format directly
onto the video, as tape technologies do not support independent subtitle
streams.
And this is where I have an issue : the transcode subtitler seems old and
rather unmantained, it basically segfault when I try to use it. It's displayed
as being version v0.8.1 but more recent version on Panteltje's site do not
compile.
Is there any other tool that could be used?
