Ok that was it. In my .po files I had a wrong encoding ("Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1\n"). My files were encoded in UTF-8, but the header didn't say so. This header was probably added by poedit or gtranslator and I missed it. Thx a lot!
