Did you install 2.2 from a tarball or from the master tree in GH? There are huge differences between the tarball (dating December 2010) and the GH sources. If you want to try 2.2 go for the GH version. OTOH, can't talk about the XLIFF issue but regarding CSRF the `csrfmiddlewaretoken` is indeed used.
