Hi, *tl;dr* Can you post a 'Yes' comment to the following gist https://gist.github.com/izuzak/bbaafadaf71c56f4b5c3 to help us migrate your bugs and comments to github issues.
After some consideration we've decided to migrate our current bugzilla at bugs.locamotion.org to Github issues. Being an open source project this isn't something we've taken lightly. Bugzilla has served us well over a number of years. Our reasons can best be summarised as: 1. One less server to maintain, so we can focus our efforts on Pootle, Virtaal and all our other tools. Not getting caught out with bugzilla outages and not having to do server upgrades are worth a lot to the core developers. 2. With issues tightly integrated into github it makes it easier to expose bug reports for fixing and action. The fixing still requires time of course, no magic there I'm afraid. But we've found that our bugzilla bugs have been to easy to ignore when hidden away on a separate system. In order to make the migration seamless and to retain the communication with those who've reported and commented on bugs we'd like to be able to associate your bugzilla user with your github account. For our Bugzilla import Github will allow us to create these account associations. But they will only allow us to associate this information with those users who opt-in. In order to approve this association simply add a 'Yes' comment to https://gist.github.com/izuzak/bbaafadaf71c56f4b5c3 Since we'd really like you to know when your bugs are fixed or when someone adds a comment to a bug that you have shown interest in, our hope is that all of you will opt-in. Thanks in advance for taking the time. -- Dwayne *Translate* +27 12 460 1095 (work) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open source business process management suite built on Java and Eclipse Turn processes into business applications with Bonita BPM Community Edition Quickly connect people, data, and systems into organized workflows Winner of BOSSIE, CODIE, OW2 and Gartner awards http://p.sf.net/sfu/Bonitasoft _______________________________________________ Translate-pootle mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/translate-pootle
