I have a broken 680 that I am sending back to Palm, but I want to wipe all of my data first. The problem is that its ailment is a sticking virtual key: it goes into a constant hotsync loop the second it boots up as if a hotsync button were being pressed. When attached to my PC via a sync cable it ignores that so I can use the device, but it still thinks a key is sticking so a hard reset doesn't work: it just boots up as normal. Is there any way to wipe it via software other than deleting every record? I know there are applications out there that will wipe a treo if a certain SMS message is received or something like that. Suggestions? I'd rather not pay much for a program I'll only use once, but if that's the only choice I'll do it. Thanks. - -Jason -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBRmQZVayvi1v8SpM5AQIPhgP9EB/pUw2J8jGrSfAxd74o0FJWEOfW7ec1 mlEcvGtYg4VsnKasr7bB/DG3f7iPgq0GnpgsyBodlN2jabWwhu5ESkNC32h8CY27 qX1EZN+3bwVwR9URcOW7ofrwv3kFz+o4CBPkuQ57M9lFvhOjLuVLdAj3WYus/9ud MtqfjqG414E= =mdhk -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
