The disciple whom Jesus loved very much was John. In John 20:20 it says "Peter turned and saw the dicsiple whom Jesus loved very much", so it's definately not Peter. verse 20 goes on to say that "this disciple was the one who had leaned on Jesus' breast at the lust supper".
The disciple who leaned on Jesus on the last supper was John. What's funny about this whole thing for me is that, this whole scripture was actually written by John himself. Just thought I would shed some light. ________________________________ From: kudzai manyati <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, November 14, 2008 11:14:57 AM Subject: Re: Query I think its Peter On 11/13/08, Rutendo <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Evening O great tribe. > U guys know we were reading John in our daily reading early this week. > It makes references to the disciple whom Jesus loved John21.20. who is > this disciple? > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "tribewithavibe" group.
