What a Word we received yesterday from amai. One of the things that struck me
was the issue of the sun, that it is the same sun which melts the ice and
hardens the clay. That made me do a self evaluation to check the condition of
my heart.And from the beginning of the year pastor Tom has been talking about
setting your heart right before God. The season we are in is no longer a time
to play church guys this is the time to get an intimate relationship with God.
Having your very own relationship with the father. Its not about the person
next door its about you as an individual.
The good thing is that God doesn`t use man`s standards just like what we read
last week in the daily bible reading program in Isaiah that God`s way are
higher than ours. God sees through spiritual eyes. We all know the story of the
widow who brought a few coins as an offering and Jesus said she gave the most
whereas they were others who had given way above her according to our standards
yet God was looking at the condition of the heart.We see King David was a man
after God`s heart it wasn't because he was perfect according to the human scale
he probably committed some of the biggest sins but he had a heart that was
right before God.
Mighty man and women of God lets set our hearts right. You might be anointed
and powerful but if your heart is not right its all vanity.
