She said Elijah had to battle for three & ½ years with Baal worship b4 his victory. & she then asked " What structures are in your life that you are battling with?". Guys we all have structures that we are fighting against & just like Elijah there are times when the pressure is overwhelming & we feel like we are all alone. But God came to Elijah & told him that He had preserved for himself abt 400 prophets who had not bowed down to Baal. Sometimes we feel like we are all alone but as Paul says there is a great crowd of witnesses -witnesses to what? To the truth that God is Real & He loves us & is willing to fight on our b 1/2 if we only let Him. Elijah was taken head on -they said prove that your God is true & the same will happen to us. I remember the offering challenge when Elijah commanded the people to pour water on the offering firewood because he was confident of his God. And surely flames came down from heaven & not only leaked away the water but burned the offering & guys the logs were literally soaked in water - it was actually an underwater offering. So the same might happen to us -that it seems an impossible situation, but God will be planning a bigger miracle on our behalf. Lazarus had to die, Jairos' daughter had to die for there to be a bigger miracle -a resurrection!!! In the words of Christ: "With men it is impossible but with God all things are possible...!" God has a 180 degree angle scope of all our problems...by His word what does not exist has, can & will come into existence!!!
