*I was reading today’s bible reading in Genesis and what really caught my
attention was in chapter 25, it says that “Isaac was 40 years when he took
Rebekah as wife ………………. [v21] now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife,
bcz she was barren and the Lord granted his plea and Rebekah conceived ….
[v26] Isaac was 60 yrs old whn she bore them “

I was just looking at how it took 20 years for Rachel to finally have chn,
besides the fact that in those times pple lived until they were a hundred
and something years old, so maybe to them 20 years wasn’t so much, but
that’s just besides the fact that they were patient and God blessed them and
kept his word not only did he give them one baby but two sons, two nations.
as we go on to chapter 26 , we see how God continued to bless Isaac and his
family , [v13] says “ the man began to prosper ,and continued prospering
until he became very prosperous “ why was this so it was because he trusted
on what God said to him , he did not doubt , if God asked Him to do anything
he wd do it right away and god was so pleased with Him , he blessed him even
in a foreign land that he even became a threat to the foreigner thy even
envied Him .

He was also blessed because of His father Abrahams obedience, God kept on
referring to his father saying because your father obeyed my voice, I am
going to do so and so, which makes me think, what am I doing now so that whn
I have chn they will be blessed even whn iam not around anymore, am I
obeying god voice and commandments so that God will keep referring to me whn
he talks to my Kids and grandchn [food for thought]
as we are fasting we need to keep on encouraging each other not grow weary ,
and everyday we need to share what God is saying to us , cz you never know
whom it might help .*
*
Blessed day
