'If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren and sisters and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosover doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.' Luke 14:26-27 The word here is very clear about the prerequisite of being a disciple. One needs to die to self and take up the cross. It is not easy to live ur life for someone else but as u do that God begins to add to u. Let us therefore strive to be disciples by laying down our lives for others. Help those in need of help, pray for those who need prayer, feed the hungry, clothe the naked. I pray that God gives us a heart to strengthen each other as brethren to lay down our lives and die to self for Christ's sake.
