Subject: ABIDING IN THE VINE!

You know its funny I was
actually looking for the word of the day!  I`m really getting used to
this.

Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.' John 15:4

We cannot bear fruit on our own.  What a reminder, what a word!  You
know I had a chat with my dad this morning and we were talking about the exact
same thing.  The crux of our conversation was that we live in a society
that you need to do it yourself.  We have so many self help books on how
you can help yourself with this and that.  But as Christians God Himself
added in another factor that we often ignore to our own demise.

Thinking about todays word Jesus Himself said without Him we cannot bear
fruit.  And I`ve been meditating on that and you sometimes look and you
see "fruit".  As I`ve been thinking about it I think its the
difference between an Isaac and an Ishmael.  I think you can bear fruit in
the flesh but whatever you bring forth does not have the capacity within itself
to produce a God result.

E.g Ishmael was a child but he couldn`t brin about the purposes of God on
earth.  From Isaac came Jacob from Jacob the 12 Tribes of Israel and
consequently Israel as we know it today.  If we read further Isaac was
linked a lot to the coming of the Lord Jesus Himself.  But only Isaac had
the capacity to produce those results and not Ishmael.

You know I`ve seen how some people can do things, have good ideas say nice
things that tickle the ears but it lacks the God element.  Something is
just different when you bear fruit bring results that emanate from ABIDING IN
THE VINE!.

One more thing is Tawanda shared yesterday about maintaining an attitude of
being NOTHING before God.  And then he went to say only He can make
something out of nothing.  maybe we would have greater success if we just
humbled ourselves everyday before God and worked hard to stay in the word and
in prayer then we would bear fruit from ABIDING IN THE VINE.  The Lord
Jesus went on to say when you bear that fruit it will be fruit that remains!

Wow I`m really enjoying sharing the word together.

Enjoy your day!

'Abide in me and I in you. As
the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except

it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.' John 15:4 How

clearer can the message get than this. The principle is simple, you cannot

bear fruit on your own.

Many times we make decisions, plans etc and often do not take time to

listern to God or ask if it is the path to take and we end up in trouble or

God just shuts the avenues like what Pst Lync said on Saturday.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and

it shall be done unto you. 15:7 when u come to that place of being in the

word, abiding in him, i believe u will get revelation and wisdom to ask in

faith and you will recieve that which u seek.

Let us abide in him, keep the faith in him and stay in the word and he will

demonstrate his abilities to keep his word.
