'Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise, be thankful unto him, and bless his name.' Psalm 100:4 we have often recieted this scripture, but a s i read it today i felt it like a commandment, that we do not just enter into his courts without a praise offering. Not only is singing, praising and worshiping God enjoyable, but it creates and atmosphere, and it is in this atmosphere that we invite the presence of the Holy spirit and send away the devil. So if u can't sleep late at night, begin to sing unto the Lord, as u wake up in the morning before leaving the house, praise him and u will see how pleasant ur day will be. As an individual, i had a problem getting sleep at night, i began just playing background worship music as i went to bed, and i tell u this whole year i have had peacefull nights after praising and worshiping him alone before going to bed. And as i wake up and preparing to leave the house, i praise and worship and behold my day just flows. Where i would ordinarily be angry bcoz of a traffic jam, i find myself just chilled, where i would be angry at the combi driver, i find myself calm and i believe it is because i would have began my day on the right footing. Sometimes u walk into a very tense 8am meeting, but becuase my spirit is yeilded to a higher authority peace flows in that meeting room.
