- the number 7 represents completion and perfection. Gen 2:2 And on the *seventh day* God *ended his work* which he had made; and he rested on the *seventh day* from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the *seventh day*, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Revelations 10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be *time no longer*: But in the days of the voice of the *seventh angel*, when he shall begin to sound, *the mystery of God should be finished*, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. *In Scripture, seven symbolizes completeness or perfection.* On the seventh day God rested from his labors and creation is finished (Genesis 2:2). Samson’s sacred Nazirite locks were braided in seven plaits (Judges 16:13). There were the seven spirits of God Isaiah 11:2. There were 70 elders (Exodus 24:1) in Israel. So there is definitely something up with the number 7, and if you have an interest in it continue to study it.
