Wow Mukoma Simba thanks for that word! I think in one of our earlier readings in Psalms the Word spoke of how the righteous should rejoice in God because God defends them. And that is a beautiful truth that God defends us, for me personally that means I never have to walk in fear or apprehension because God is on my side and He is my defense.
I read a quote a few years back that said "Blessed is the man who defends himself for he shall have himself as a defense". That really scared me to think of having myself as a defense because that would make me mince meat sooner than later. But Glory to God, our God who reigns in power and might, who created the heavens and the earth is our defense! Hallelujah who don`t have to look to ourselves for vindication and protection, Yahweh is our defense! Remember that today, and join the Psalmist in saying, *"'My defense is of God, which saveth the upright in heart."Psalm 7:10.* Have an amazing day!
