I don`t like those kind of prayers because I know God can be very effective when it comes to removing the covering thats stopping you and others from enjoying the treasure in you. There is something else though that Pastor said that really touched me, he quoted the scripture that says "if you fall on the rock you will be broken, but if the rock falls on you you will be crushed to pieces". I feel like in life I`ve had the rock fall on me a couple of times and its been whack! But when I have yielded myself to God its like I am falling apart, I no longer hold the right to act like I want to, say what I want to, be who I want to. Rather I go to God and say "what would You have me say, do and be". And that can be painful but that is willingly falling on the rock! We are children of God and the Word says He brings discipline to those He loves. And at times the more we resist God and resist His leadings and choose our own way instead sometimes we get to a point where the rock falls on you. David when he had sinned and God asked him to choose a punishment either, his enemies would come against him or a plague would hit the land (in other words God would supernaturally punish him). David said "but let me fall into hands of God". As we are fasting, its painful, it will hurt like Simba and Jay are saying you will get tempted your body will freak out! !!! But we are falling into the hands of God, and no matter what it feels like thats the best place for you to be. Rather fall into the hands of Yahweh! he will ensure that the treasure in you is realised and made manifest! Keep bringing in the updates of how the fast is going!!
