assets can be classified into 2 broad terms, the fixed ones i.e immovable ones, and the current one's i.e those that can be easily disposed off or those held for resale. for example, as a business, having ur own property is more advantageous than renting one.
ultimately property is the most valuable asset, and an asset has to be maintained otherwise it loses its value. a mix of both fixed and current assets is ideal.
