Interesting discussion. I do not have all the answers but hear are some of my responses:
1. Spiritual success is definately the most important kind of success that there is but it is not all the success that there is. We should strive to succeed in all aspects of life. Read 3 John 2. 2. The unfairness of life does not nullify the truth. Perseverance always outlasts persecution. Even in cases of injustice (e.g. unjust wages) there are rewards to following principles (e.g. encouragement to others). 3. Controlling of your destiny is not necessarily determining your destination. Rather, it is having the freedom to choose how things go in your life. Good times and bad times will come your way but if you work hard you can avert them. A basic example, a lofer cannot chose what he eats for supper but a person that work can because he has the money to buy whatever he wants. 4. Life is not unfair. Everyone can at anytime decide to take his or her life in his or her hands and make it what he or she wants. There may be setbacks now and then but that is life. Rather than seeing life as unfair, see that you are sometimes unfair to yourself in life. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "tribewithavibe" group.
