Sounds like you already found this but just in case it is helpful, UM1724 is the manual for the Nucleo-F030R8 and UM1956 is the user manual for the Nucleo-F031K6. As you already observed, the schematics are generic and cover a bunch of different boards.

Subject: Re: [TriEmbed] where are the Nucleo design files?

Hi Charles,

I would appreciate a contact name you've dealt with as there are other ST-related things a client and I need to pursue, but this search is over. Murphy's law of breaking down and asking for help did the trick.

I found the same old .zip amongst files that I couldn't begin to decode but there was a pdf that didn''t seem to be meaningful and didn't provide joy with a different PDF viewer yesterday. But with the one in Chrome there is an index and in that index are the magic words "MCU_SchDoc". The board-specific chip is not shown, only a "generic" chip with the same family pinout but I gather that's the F030 part I was after. And all the rest of the board is there, including the other MPU that does the smart USB storage emulation stuff allowing drag and drop of binaries for flashing.

Thanks,
Pete

Oops, I guess they bought Freescale and by bad luck I'm dealing with that vis a vis NXP.

But searching he ST site many, many times has only taken me in circles. But I would definitely need an ST AE. :-)

NXP has owned ST for quite some time.

I'm struggling to find decent docs for two NXP stm32 Nucleo boards and
after a great deal of searching wondering if they even exist. The boards
are the NUCLEO-STM32F031K6 and NUCLEO-STM32030R8. If anybody has
specific schematics for these boards I'd greatly appreciate a copy or
pointer. (the schematic for "STM32F031K6 HAL UART Interrupts problem" is
not it). Is there a regional NXP AE that I could call about this?

Thanks,
Pete
