Dale Heatherington, one of the two who started Hayes Microcomputer which developed the AT command set for controlling modems, passed away last week. I originally met him back when I lived in Lawrenceville, Ga at the Botlanta (Atlanta robotics) meetings. I did not realize just how famous he was until recently, but I have followed some of his latest robot creations through the Atlanta robotics FB page.
