I have staged some proposed website updates at https://triembed.binaryj.net
Please have a look and provide any feedback. If i don't hear anything back
i will probably push the same changes to the main site next weekend. I
also changed the colors on the favicon for the staging site so it's easier
to see which one i'm connected to.
- Added Menu that is distinct from page structure. Modify under
Appearance -> Menus
- Can change menu order without changing page URLs
- Rearranging menu order is much more intuitive drag/drop
- Not every published page needs to show up in the menu
- Now if you access from Mobile this is a much better menu experience
compared to current triembed.org that has much longer menu
- Personal Project Pages menu reworked:
- New top-level menu item is Projects
- Edger menu item links to edger.app
- Projects menu item and Member Projects sub-item link to new page
with summary info about Edger, and a dynamic TOC of the Member Projects
subtree
- Nick Edgington and Scott Hall pages were empty and have been
moved to Draft so they aren't visible in the live site, but
if they get
published they will show up in the TOC above
- POTM Menu reworked:
- Collapsed into one page / menu-item rather than different ones for
each year
- The old year pages are still there, just not in the menu.
