During the Y2K thingy, I remember that I went around checking ATM machines on 1-1-2000 (Barcelona, Europe). The results were interesting: * I checked ATMs from ~12 diffeerent banks, 2/3 ATMs from each bank. * ATMs from ~ 8 banks were OK * ATMs from ~3 banks were BSOD/unkonwn error * ATMS that were BSOD were all running WinCE * All the banks were I did my business were all running OK * On Jan, 2nd, it was pretty funny to laugh at Microsoft, as most of Microsoft-based ATMs were still down (in Barcelonathere are more ATMs than McDonalds + Gas Stations in an American city of comparable size) * Of course, nobody got fired for "buying Microsoft".
