As far as TriLUG is concerned, a presentation is about an hour in length and a mini-course can be anywhere from 2-3 hours long. We're trying to have courses each saturday after a thursday evening meeting. The last one, as stated, was on apache. I'd like to see us do a presentation or course on subversion sometime. I'm also spearheading a migration to subversion inside my company (in our case, moving to subversion from Visual SourceSafe) and would love to hear what other people doing similar things have to say.
