Shorewall GUI???
I downloaded the RPM, installed it, went hunting for a GUI and gave up
and started reading the command line documentation.
Where did I miss the part about a GUI??

You could always use shorewall ( http://shorewall.net/). It's the
default firewall on Mandrake Linux.
