Okay, I installed Sarge, plugged in my Logitech QuickCam Pro 4k and, Volia, it is seen. One problem though: vgrabbj only grabs images in 120x160 regardless of what I tell it to grab. I quick -s flag shows the following:
Videodevice name: /dev/video0 (Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000) Capabilities Type : 1 Values can be looked up at videodev.h Channels : 1 Audio : 1 MaxWidth : 640 MaxHeight: 480 MinWidth : 160 MinHeigth: 120 Current Settings: Brightness: 31744 Hue : 65535 Color : 32768 Contrast : 32768 Whiteness : 49152 Depth : 24 Palette : YUV420P (15) Width : 160 Height : 120 Chromakey : 0 So, my current settings seem to be wrong, as the device seems capable of VGA. I don't mess with cameras much so any pointers here would be very helpful. Any ideas? Back to google.
