I have two hardware rev 3 openwrt units that exibit odd behavior in WET mode. One unit I am testing at home in WET mode (bridge to another access point) will NOT sych up with the primary access point until you ssh into the unit and issue the following commands "wifi down ; wifi up". Once this command is run the unit synchs with the primary AP and all is well.
I am seeing the same thing on my beach access point - it will not sych with the primary AP unit I ssh in after a reboot and issue "wifi down ; wifi up". I've tried to put these commands into a startup script but it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas? I want to stress that I do not make any changes to the unit, just bring down the wireless interface and bring it back up. Then it works great. Strange.
