We're currently using BroadbandAccess and the equivilant with Sprint. I haven't got my hands on the Verizon card yet, but the sprint card works wonders! I downloaded a 2.6.x kernel from kernel.org at about 130KB/s. I have an EVDO cellphone from verizon that I'm able to use as a wireless card for my laptop and enjoy roughly the same speeds. I haven't used it in FL yet, but I'm going to a trade show in Orlando in January so I should know then. The coverage area for both companies is still limited to major cities, which is understandable considering the cost to convert a cell site is still pretty high. All in all, I've been happy with both services, but I can't get my cellphone to connect at high speed in Linux, but the sprint card works like a charm!
Hope this helps, Steve On 12/16/05, Len Boyle <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Good Morning; > > Is anyone using BroadbandAccess?
