For people unfamiliar with gpg, will we be able to create a key and get people to sign it at the meeting?
Probably not a good idea, you generally don't bring your actual public key (let alone your private key) with you to a key signing. You really only want to bring your key's fingerprint and your personal ids. Generating a key at home and getting the fingerprint isn't that hard, have a look at http://www.dewinter.com/gnupg_howto/english/GPGMiniHowto.html http://www.cryptnet.net/fdp/crypto/gpg-party.html and the umbrella GPG how-to list: http://www.gnupg.org/(en)/documentation/howtos.html -- Rick DeNatale IPMS/USA Region 12 Coordinator http://ipmsr12.denhaven2.com/ Visit the Project Mercury Wiki Site http://www.mercuryspacecraft.com/ -- TriLUG mailing list : http://www.trilug.org/mailman/listinfo/trilug TriLUG Organizational FAQ : http://trilug.org/faq/ TriLUG Member Services FAQ : http://members.trilug.org/services_faq/
