Have you considered Ubuntu? No, sorry, that's not a real solution.
In SUSE Linux 10.1, Novell has completely replace the old package management system. Obviously, they had some problems. There are updated packages available that fix the problem. The details can be found on the OpenSUSE.org site. Try here: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:Most_Annoying_Bugs I hope that helps. I just finished installing Suse 10.1 on my laptop and tried to run the software updater... and got this error when it was trying to resolve dependancies: Establishing script:libzypp-patch-zmdrestart.sh-2-1533-1.noarch[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates ] This would invalidate script:libzypp-patch-zmdrestart.sh-2-1533-1.noarch[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates ]. Marking this resolution attempt as invalid. Any ideas how to fix this? thanks, Christopher. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
