These things are fantastic.  I just installed another two and I just love
these units.  All you have to do is flash the OpenWRT code from the Linksys
GUI and, Volia!  The best AP on the planet (almost anyway).

When I return home I am going to attempt to break open my new Apple Airport
Express.  I am convinced I can attach an external SMA antenna adpatper and
to that an amplifier.  The Apple firmware already allows variable power
settings so it is easy to drop input power.

Still I think I'm not sure why I am paying nearly double when I could use
OpenWRT units.  Oh well, I have to have some variety in my computing life
and I really do love streaming music through my APs.
