Matt,

I had a lot of success with their higher-end models. They were sleek,
ran well, and were just overall good machines. Their budget models,
however, were absolutely god awful. So I guess it really depends on
what end of the spectrum you're looking at. I had an account with
them and they were pretty easy to deal with other than the language
barrier.

Any opinions about the quality of a Jetta Jetbook (notebook/laptop

recording studio in my house. A nearby computer sales/repair shop
sells these Jettas.

Aside from the Jettas, the guy said he likes Acer Travelmate,
although he doesn't sell them. Any recommendations about laptops in
general for this purpose? I'll be using an analog-to-digital
converter going in to it.

Any recommended sources?

Thanks,
Matt
