-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I had the same problem with my R40 and spanning desktops. The only thing I got to work was the same desktop on two monitors. But, the only time that would work was when I plugged in the monitor after X was already started. I have tried numerous times to get it to work, but all attempts have failed. And, the S-Video port doesn't work at all.
