I am having issues with copying files from a linux ext3 format to a vfat
or fat32 external hard drive.The original files to be copied are in up
case, ie, R3456, Panama, GUTAMALA. But when I copy the files to the
external vfat\fat32 drive, the file names get changed to lower case
every time so I end up with r3456, panama, Guatemala. I have certain
scripts and programs that depend upon the case sensitivity of these
files and won't work if they are adjusted like this. The intent was to
be able to use the external to view and access files on both linux and
windows OS. The command I give to copy is as follows:
/bin/cp -R source(in this case GUTAMALA) /mnt/flash
