According to http://www.mythtvtalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4648 the HVR-1600 is "CX23418 based which apparently does not work with ivtv". (IVTV is the kernel drivers for the other Hauppage cards: 150, 250, 350, 500).
So, based on that, I'd be surprised if it worked with mythtv or linux at all. Cheers, Tanner On 2/20/07, Lee Fickenscher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Has anyone tried any of the other HDTV cards? I was looking at the http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products/ data_hvr1600.html It has both digital and analog tuners. Combined with my PVR500 that would give me four tuners (1 digital, 3 analog) in two PCI slots. I've been happy with hauppauge products, very unhappy with pinnacle products, and never used a pcHDTV. Hauppauge cards seem to have fairly good linux support. -Lee On Feb 19, 2007, at 2:27 PM, Kevin Otte wrote: > I'm debating about purchasing an HD-5500 ( http://www.pchdtv.com/ ) > and was > wondering if anyone else might be interested in an order.
