That won't be a problem as far as you follow the guidelines for free
distros.
If the games are free, then pick them as you like.

I suggest you to start with a variable release schedule while the distro
is
in the testing stage: release when needed and use the date as version
number.

It is mostly dead by now, but we need to change that!

Sounds right. In fact, some of the latest reports about non-free bits in
the
repos where about games -I guess they receive less care than other kind of
packages-, so it is a very needed task.

You can continue using English if you like. The devel list is in that 
language -but we are not strict about that-, and since we started working
with the FSF we keep moving to it for all the development tasks.
