thnx for the help... I got it fixed. I was using the grub from Trisquel. I
forgot grub was easier to edit than lilo. I edited the menu.lst file to point
to Suse's symlinks to the vmlinuz and initrd files.
Suse has /boot/initrd symlinked to /boot/initrd-; same with vmlinuz. Makes
sense really; you don't have to constantly update grub everytime there's a
kernel update.
