Evidently, the distinction between "stripped" and unstripped" refers to the
binaries of those libraries being Debian-specific, and therefore "stripped",
whereas the unstripped libraries are for any distro. They should only be used
on Debian packages. That's what I can glean from the description of these
packages in Synaptic.
