That's not true, the free Icedtea Java plugin works nicely with Abrowser 3.5 and 3.6 in Trisquel 3.5 and 4.0 respectively. That must be a bug in IceCat, it does not load the system plugins properly (it needs them to be in a not standard place). That is one of the reasons we have Abrowser, which is -other that bugs like that- mostly identical.
