With the recent influx of users and attention Trisquel has been getting I
think this might be a good idea. Implementing organization and focus groups
may lead to much more progress. Rubén has done an excellent job with
Trisquel thus far, but with more support and active input from the community
Trisquel could grow to be a powerhouse among distros. On top of the
suggestions you mentioned I would also propose a documentation team to
create documents both for use on the system and online (wikis, manuals,
etc.). I would also propose a support team whose aim would be to focus on
answering questions on the forums, IRC, mailing lists, and so forth. On that
note I would also propose replacing the current forum with one that is more
in-depth, offers better areas of focus, and isn't mainly based on mailing
list posts. While the current state of things has been doing great for the
size of the Trisquel community thus far, I feel we should prepare for the
future by expanding our resources.

What we would need at this point would be people willing to take on
leadership roles within these teams and dedicate their efforts into
recruiting other team members, organizing goals and mission statements, and
overall just creating progress. I would be willing to volunteer to begin the
support group at this point if these ideas would be popular among others.

So what say you Trisquel users? What are your thoughts on creating and
organizing focus groups to help support the overall community? It would be
great to see some discussion on this topic :)
