When playing DVDs the video quality is rather bad. Too much noise, artifacts
in black areas. I know that the DVD won't look as well as it could on my
monitor, since the physical resolution of the display is way above the DVD
signal. But I believe to recall, how DVDs looked somewhat better in Windows.
What does the video quality depend on anyway?
