What version of Exaile are you using?  I was reading this on the exaile  
mailing list (

) and it says:

* Fixed startup crash on development version of PyGObject.
This may be the bug you are experiencing.  I luckily don't have this bug but  
it might be fixed by upgrading to the newest version because on my 4.5  
install I have the version right before that.
