to SUSPEND_METHODS="acpi-support dbus-pm dbus-hal pm-utils" (I added acpi-support)
Now everything is working fine again. I don't remember, but I may have had this edit in the file before, when I got it to work, but removed it because I thought the uswsusp fixed everything.
