I hear you.
We will be including larger images in the future once our new web site is up.
One of the reasons we use lower resolution images is down to cost. It's an
intentional design decision in the layout of the page. They are easier for me
to work with. That means it costs less to put up new products. We haven't
hired a graphics designer yet to put together something fancier. And while I
could do it myself the time required doesn't justify it. There are lots of
things that need to be worked on. It makes more sense to hold off on this
issue until the new site is up. You can look forward to larger images and
other improvements in October (if things move forward as planned, they
currently are).
Making announcements about new and/or upcoming products can be helpful to
those thinking about a purchase. Wouldn't you appreciate it if someone told
you that there was a new version right around the corner? If it has some
feature you would like than holding off might be of value.
We don't have significant stock left of the old model so if your concern was
that it would delay the new model as the result of everybody holding off it
won't. I think I might have even implied that. Sorry about that. It'll
probably be out by the end of week and actually maybe sooner. We try and keep
some stock even after we are “sold out” in order to take care of
potential warranty issues.
